PROUD TO BE LOCAL

It all started in 2014 with just six sheep in a Salcombe orchard, and a vision to produce great-tasting local meat to the highest welfare standards.

Seven years on, we’re proud owners of a thriving farm, butchery and shop, continuing our dedication to hand-rear our own traditional breed, slow-grown, grass-fed animals, serving the South Hams some of the most sustainable, ethical and delicious meat and produce around.

“Provenance is so important to us – all of our premium quality lamb is produced in Devon by farmers who really care about their animals.”

PARTNERS IN PIONEERING LOCAL PRODUCE

Our new farm shop and butchery is dedicated to bringing you the very best local produce the South Hams has to offer, always with a focus on sustainability, welfare, provenance and, above all – taste.

Alongside our very own hand-reared meat that includes Taste of the West Gold award-winning Devon Closewool lamb and prize-winning Herdwicks, we partner with other local farms, producers and artisans, from great-tasting local meat supplied by Thorn Park Farm, Slapton, and Penare Farm, Mevagissey, to local fruit and veg from Martin Berryman at Terawhiti Farm, South Milton, all sold in our brand new butchery and farm shop at Salcombe.

“We pride ourselves on sustainable practices and high standards of animal welfare that make for great tasting meat with a trusted provenance.”
